Traffic GO Scores a Hole In One

A recent job by Allwood Floorsanding in Perth. Allwood installed a new floor to this beautiful new home build overlooking the Joondalup golf course.

Roasted Peat 130x14 was installed direct stick to the upstairs living areas & staircase treads using Bona Intense Primer followed by Bona Traffic GO Matt finish, and Traffic HD Anti-Slip was used on the stairs.

The Floor was sanded after installation with a 40 grit, then again with 100 grit prior to the first coat of Traffic GO, then cut back again prior to the final coat. Bona Traffic GO is Bona's new 1k finish with built in 2k technology, meaning that the built in hardener is only activated when the finish is applied. This means no mixing and no wastage, with simple application achieving a durable 2k result that makes Traffic GO an all round winner.

Roasted Peat is an Australian Hardwood that has been through a thermal modification process that uses no chemicals to permanently alter the structure of the wood fibre. This process greatly increases the stability and density of the hardwood, as well as locking in the deep earth to chocolate brown colour tones.

The end result is stunning and provides the owners the ideal environment in which to survey the Golf Course below and ponder the chances of a hole in one on the Par 3 ninth...
