Timber Floors
Proper maintenance is often the most overlooked aspect of a timber flooring project. Preventative maintenance includes the installation of adequate mats at all entrances and felt protectors on furniture legs to prevent scratching. On-going maintenance includes proper cleaning methods and use of protective products like Bona Refresher to keep the floor looking good. The floor should be regularly inspected for signs of wear and re-coated before wear-through of the finish occurs. A correctly maintained timber floor should almost never need to be sanded back to bare timber again.
Additional advice and information can be found below in the Bona domestic timber floor maintenance guide. You may also like to look at the short video presentation which illustrates how to use the Bona Spray Mop and shows the application of Bona Refresher.
Hard Surface Floors
Bona products have been protecting and maintaining timber floors worldwide for over 90 years. An important part of the Bona system is the ongoing care and maintenance of the floor. Bona have now taken that knowledge and used it to develop a maintenance system for hard surface floors. The following information will help you keep your sealed hard surface floors including ceramic tiles, laminates, linoleum, vinyl and marble, looking great.
