Bona’s heritage has shaped who we are today. What started in 1919 as a small family-owned grocery store in Malmö, Sweden –– that also made a protective polishing agent for wood floors called, “bonvax” –– has grown into a multinational company with a presence in over 90 countries.

    Our story began over 100 years ago with Bona’s founder, Wilhelm Edner. At the time, his first love was selling coffee at his small grocery store in Malmö, Sweden. Little did he know that bonvax would become his best-selling product.
